In the Algarve region of Portugal, the ocean is an integral part of daily life with its dramatic cliffs, golden beaches, and turquoise waters. As a photographer, I’m deeply inspired by this cinematic landscape. For this portrait photoshoot, I wanted to capture the sense of peacefulness and wonder that I feel when I’m at the ocean. Praia da Barriga in Vila do Bispo, located on the western part of the Algarve, was the perfect place for this. The beach was so vast, we were all struck by the beauty of the surroundings.
Since we moved to the Algarve we met so many amazing people and Kristina is one of them. When I explained to her the idea behind the shoot, she understood it right away and we had a blast creating these images together. Through these photos, I hope you’ll feel inspired like we were by the power and the beauty of our natural world.
