In Spring, I had the privilege of capturing a beautiful anniversary photoshoot for a lovely couple at the Fishermen’s Trail, in Porto Covo, Portugal. The scenery is truly breathtaking in this part of the country.
As I was taking their pictures, I asked them how they met and why they chose this particular place for their first wedding anniversary. They told me that the first time they did the Fishermen’s trail, they were friends. Then somewhere along the way, they fell in love. A year later, they returned as lovers, and once again this year, they came back as a married couple for their honeymoon. 🥹 This place that had first sparked their love continued to be a sanctuary for them, a haven where they relived their cherished memories and created new ones. 🤍
As a photographer, I tried my best to capture their love, for each other but also for this place where their story began.
